The Story Behind our Name
Throughout Leaded Light you will find numerous stained glass panels in a variety of jewel-like colours. On the main staircase landing of the guest house you will find the 'Leaded Lights' panel after which the guest house is named.
About Leaded Light Guest House
Built in 1903 as a family home, Leaded Light Guest House retains many of it's original Edwardian features. Established as a family-run guest house in 1986 the proprietress - Helen - makes it a priority to accommodate each of her guest's individual needs.
Every modern facility is available including wireless internet access, ensuite to all rooms, Freeview television, off road parking, a charming garden, full English Breakfast or continental breakfast, an evening meal option and packed lunches.
Each room at Leaded Light boasts high quality sprung mattresses, soft white towels, tea and coffee facilities, a colour television, and plenty of storage space for your luggage.
The Location of Leaded Light
Leaded Light is very conveniently located just 1.5 miles from central Solihull on the main A41 Warwick Road running towards Birmingham city centre. Motorway access is via junction 5 of the M42 at Knowle (4.3 miles away) with links to the M5, M6 and M40 motorways. The nearest airport is Birmingham International Airport which is situated about 4 miles to the North.
Within walking distance of the guest house there are a number of quality restaurants and delis, golf courses, the Parkway private hospital and Olton railway station (which is on the London Marylebone to Birmingham line).
